Hi! I am Michael Kilb, psychologist and postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Child Nutrition at the Max Rubner-Institut in Germany, where I currently research food-based dietary guidelines for and the food environment of children and adolescents. I am also external lecturer and associated researcher at the Division of Health Psychology of the University of Mannheim.
My research interests focus on psychosocial influences on eating behavior, digital health (particularly health apps and social media), health behavior change and maintenance, and the behavioural treatment and prevention of obesity.
I am also a health and science communication enthusiast and write about topics in the field of Health Psychology, such as health behavior change and the development of health-promoting habits, on my blog H4bits and other blogs such as In-Mind.
